Known for their “pointing” abilities, they now excel as small game hunters and make wonderful family pets. Standing 23-27 inches tall and weighing 75-80 lbs, they are kind, loyal, and energetic companions that thrive on attention and exercise. Proper care includes daily teeth brushing, weekly baths, and regular exercise. With patience and dedication, owning a Weimaraner can bring immense joy to your life.

Weimaraners …let the adventure begin!
What is a Weimaraner? • A hunting dog bred in Germany. • Originally, they were bred to hunt large game, i.e., bear, deer and boars. • They are strong, athletic and hardworking. • Weimaraners are now mostly used as small game hunters due to their natural ability to “point”, and they also make excellent family pets.

Weimaraners will be 23 to 27 inches and 75-80 lbs full grown.
Weimaranersneed love and attention. They are wonderful with children and adults alike, but they don’t like to be left alone.
Weimaraners are extremely loyal to and protective of their owners.
Taking care of a Weimaraner: • Brush their teeth daily. • Bathe them every week, with frequent brushings in between. • Clip their nails weekly. • Exercise, exercise, exercise them!
Weimaraners are fairly low-maintenance to groom, including brushing all those teeth!
