  2. D We should always be grateful for what we have. No matter how much we struggle, we are lucky to be alive. In the story, “Just a Normal Day” Chad learns not to take normal days for granted. SUMMARY Chad learned a big lesson on that normal day. At the beginning of the story Chad wished to be injured so he wouldn’t have to practice. He wasn’t thankful that he was able to walk and play soccer. Chad doesn’t realize the value of hard work in sports.Later, when the police officers told him that they were surprised he and his mom survived, Chad realized how lucky he was to be alive. He wont ever complain about small struggles like soccer again. Chad will always remember the important things he learned that day.

  3. F Many people do not appreciate the things that they have in life. Sometimes it takes tragic events to open their eyes. In “Just a Normal Day” Chad learns not to take things for granted. Paragraph 2: YOUR SUMMARY Chad came to a huge realization that day. At the beginning of the story, soccer was so challenging that Chad wished he has injured so he could avoid it.He didn’t realize that this struggle was trivial. He was blinded to the fact that playing soccer was a privilege denied by many. After the accident, Chad realized how serious the accident was when the police office told him that he’d thought there were no survivors.Chad was lucky to be alive. It could have been his last day of soccer practice all together. Chad learned that small obstacles are just a normal way of life.

  4. A Live life to the fullest, and appreciate what you have. Not every challenge is as bad as it seems. In the story, “Just a Normal Day”, Chad learned not to take things for granted. Paragraph 2: Summary Chad came to a big a realization that day. Before the accident, Chad wished for an injury so he wouldn’t have to go to practice. He was making a big deal out of something small. And, he was blind to the fact that playing soccer was a privilege. After the accident, the police officers come to the hospital and tell Chad that they didn’t expect anyone to have survived that crash. Chad feels fortunate to have another chance at life. He realized that complaining about soccer was foolish because there are worse things in life.It is obvious that Chad learned not to take things for granted.

  5. E We should appreciate the things that life gives us. You never know when you might lose them. In the story, “Just a Normal Day”, Chad learns not to take any days for granted. Your summary…….. Chad learns a great lesson that day. Before the car accident he complained that soccer practice was too hard. Chad didn’t appreciate that soccer was a privilege that he had. Also, Chad doesn’t know he is lucky to be able to play. After the accident, the physical therapist told him he’d have to work hard to play soccer next season. Chad realized he was lucky to be alive, let alone, be able to play soccer. He knew now he wouldn’t complain about small things like soccer ever again. Chad will never act as foolish as he did before that car accident.

  6. B We should always appreciate the simplest things in life. Although, sometimes it’s easy to desire what you don’t have. In the story, “Just a Normal Day”, Chad learned not to take the little things for granted. Paragraph 2: YOUR SUMMARY Chad came to a huge realization that day. Before the car accident, he wished he would have had a sprained ankle so he wouldn’t have to go to his brutal soccer practice.Chad didn’t realize soccer was a privilege denied to many. He was complaining about something that wasn’t really that bad. After the accident, police officers told Chad that they were surprised he was only injured and not killed because the accident was so bad. It’s obvious that Chad realized that he was lucky to be alive. Also, he would think twice about complaining about the little things in life.Chad learned that every normal day might be his last.
