Hypo/hyp: under; beneath (medical) Hypodermic—injected under the skin Hypocrite—one who pretends to be virtuous without really being so Hypothermia—subnormal body temperature
Therm/thermo: warm Thermometer—an instrument used to measure temperatures Thermos—an insulated container used to keep liquids at almost their original temperature
