This research explores the concept of trust in the blogosphere, focusing on classifying blogs based on their political leanings (left or right) using link polarity computation. By employing a dataset from Buzzmetrics, we aim to identify blogs' sentiments towards topics, such as opinions on the iPod, and how to effectively target audiences for advertising by tapping into like-minded communities. We utilize methods of trust propagation and sentiment detection to transform a sparsely connected blog graph into a densely connected one, enabling better understanding of relationships within the blogosphere.
