Think Big • At Builder, we have monthly meetings to brainstorm editorial six months out. • Editors and writers go on an annual editorial retreat. • We continually ask ourselves, “What’s the biggest, most important issue that we could be covering right now?” • I ask my writers, “What story would you really like to write next?” • We do a lot of group stories, with one senior editor in charge. • Travel makes a huge difference.
