  1. My Million Dollar Project by: Sophie LaHood

  2. Taxes-20% If I had a million dollars,I would give 20% of my million dollars to taxes. My balance would be eight hundred thousand dollars.

  3. Charity-10% • The name of my charity is The Mustard Seed in Nicaragua. It helps kids in orphanages. I will give one hundred thousand dollars to the Mustard Seed. I will have seven hundred thousand dollars left after my charity donation.

  4. College • For my college education, I am going to go to the University of Hawaii. I might study Pharmacy. This will cost two hundred thousand dollars for tuition, room, board,and books. My balance will be $500,000.

  5. Vehicle • My dream vehicle is a 2013 VW Beetle. It will cost me $19,795. I will have a few extra things to make it better. It will cost $20,000 for this vehicle. My balance will be $480,000.

  6. House • My house will be in 630 Glenwood Pl SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. It will cost $200,000. My balance will be $280,000.

  7. Gifts For my mom, I will buy her a margarita machine for $100. For my dad, I willl buy him two silk ties for $100. For my brother Zach, I will buy him a tire for his truck for $100. For my brother Michael, I will buy him some clothes for $100. For my brother Paul, I will buy him fireworks for $100. The gifts will cost me $500. My balance will be $275,500.

  8. Vacation • For my vacation, I am going to visit a pig farm in Georgia which won’t cost anything. I will donate some pig feed from my house. My balance will be $275,500.

  9. Entertainment • For my entertainment, I will buy a piglet and supplies! The new pet and supplies will cost $500. I will name the pig, Chumm-Chumm! I will have $279,000 left. 

  10. Gift for Teacher My gift for Mrs. Simmons will be four season passes and free parking to Six Flags Over Georgia which will cost 240 dollars. My balance will be $278,760.

  11. Furniture • For the home furniture, I will need: • Two beds:$1,254 • Three T.V.s :$1,506 • One kitchen table:$700 • Two couches:$1,400 • Four lamps:$640 • Four bedroom dressers: $792 • The furniture will cost $6,750. My new balance will be $272,010.

More House Items • I will need a few more things for my house. • I will get a shed for my pig which will cost $4,200. • A washer and dryer will cost $2,000. • A refridgerator will cost $1,800. • A microwave will cost $200. • A new sink will cost $300. • A rug will cost $150. • These extra house items will cost $8,650. My balance will be $263,460.

  13. ePal visit-GA I am going to take my ePal five places. One of the five places is to the Georgia Aquarium. For two people, it will cost $40. We will go to the gift shop and spend $200 on t-shirts,keychains, and the biggest things there. For lunch, we will spend $20. We will get there by taxi. It will cost $100 for both ways. The trip will cost $360. My new balance is $263,100.

  14. ePal Visit-Germany For my second visit, I will take my ePal friend with my family to visit her house. We will fly there first class and stay in a hotel with two rooms for seven days. I will just say she lives in Munich, Germany. The hotel and airfare will cost $49,140 for seven people. My balance will be $213,960.

  15. ePal Visit-HI I would like to take my ePal friend and my family to Maui, Hawaii when we come back from Germany. We will stay there for a week in a nice hotel. We will fly first class again in the plane. The plane tickets will cost $18,200. The hotel will cost $2,900 for seven nights. We will need two rooms for seven people. The trip will cost $21,100. My balance will be $192,860.

  16. ePal Visit-Hot Air Balloon I want to take my ePal on another excursion! I will buy two hot air balloons to race each other in the sky. She can keep one of the hot air balloons. These two hot air balloons will cost $160,000. My balance will be $32,860.

  17. ePal Visit-Cruise I would like to take my ePal on a cruise with my family. The cruise will be to the Carribean islands, and it will cost $10,910. The first-class plane tickets will cost $3,700. This trip will cost $14,610. My balance will be $18,250. While in Florida, we will take a water taxi to Jules Undersea Lodge and stay for five days. Including taxi, fees and taxes, it will cost $3,650 per day. We will be there for five days. My balance will be zero.
