2017 • Continued very slow communication and response from R5 led to much slower PACE activities in 2017 • Status to-date • Approval of one project • April 6, R1-R6 Pace Chairs meeting • Contribution • R5 funding is almost depleted • Pace funding for PACE training was denied • Resorted to apply for IEEE USA for Innovation Summit event
R5 PACE Qualified categories for 20017 1. Career & Employment Activities 2. K-12 STEM Activities 3. Student Professional Activities 4. Young Professional Activities 5. Government Activities • Each program has a coordinator • Typically, R5 refunds 50% for a normal< $500 projects
