Phase 1 - May 17, 2010 site work begins Phase 2 - August 2010 to November 2011 building construction period Phase 3 - November 2011 to April 2012 Davies deconstruction Phase 4 - April 2012 to August 2012 completion of project site work and landscaping During the various phases of construction the amount of available parking will fluctuate, but the amount should not drop below 189 available spaces. There are currently 441 spaces available. Project Timeline

This will reduce the available parking, but we have considerable parking that is not being utilized We should all consider alternative transportation methods to campus We can get through this without much pain if we work together The administration is pursuing options to minimize the impacts to the campus and the neighboring communities. Parking revenue will be substantially decreased so the ability to improve existing parking lots, run shuttle buses, or rent offsite lots will be limited The Davies Steering Committee has a website for information updates and will be continuously updated to keep the campus community informed, http://www.uwec.edu/centers/building/index.htm Impacts of Construction
