  2. Detector configuration changes for 200 GeV • “++” to “+-” magnetic field: done on the maintenance day • Increase EMCAL gain (25 GeV): PbSc complete, PbGl under way • Trigger mix: Taking data with trigger mix candidate, final rejections need completion of gain change

  3. 200 GeV so far First muon arm production gets some J/ψ’s 200 GeV 500 GeV Backgrounds by all measures are lower at 200 GeV; this is the drift chamber timing distribution

  4. Ready for physics? • Luminosity on the low side, but will go to 109 bunches today; not a bad place to start • Background what background? • Polarization appears 55% at least; needs vigilance and there’s a lot to gain here, but also not a bad place to start; residual component may need some tuning Last night’s fill from the local polarimeter by Seishi Dairaku’s
