  2. M.Sc. in Chemistry is designed as per UGC norms considering Choice Based Credit System. This course is provided with specialization in Inorganic, Physical and Organic Chemistry. The Program is offered in such a way that students from any combination in B.Sc., can opt for M.Sc. in chemistry.   3. PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE To inculcate fundamental concepts of Chemistry and their applications at the postgraduate level (M. Sc. Organic, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry) To meet the global challenges postgraduate students will go through summer/industrial training after the second semester. To impart professional-level knowledge and expertise to students in their chosen area of specialization. A supervisory committee, chaired by the major professor assesses the progress in coursework and provides guidance for future goals. To guide the students to carry out further innovation, and research in the field of Organic, Inorganic & Physical Chemistry.

PROGRAMME OUTCOME • Strong foundation in the fundamentals and application of current chemical and scientific theories including those in Analytical, Inorganic, Organic and Physical & Biological Chemistry. • An understanding of major concepts, theoretical principles and experimental findings in chemistry. • Gaining the ability to employ critical thinking and efficient problem-solving skills in the four basic areas of chemistry (Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, and Physical).
