The Institute of Chemical and Process Engineering started its scientific and educational activity as independent faculty in 1970, beforeit was located at the Chemistry and Food Chemistry faculties. Important changes took place in 1992, when the present name of the faculty was accepted. Since its foundation the faculty awarded over 1500 MSc, 140 PhD. and 10 DSc (habilitation) Degrees.
