  2. GIBV'S SCOPEIS ALL ACROSS INDIA • We have volunteers all over India. We have one joint secretary Shri Manish Manjul who takes care of North and North east states of India. ( This includes 22 states of India). He has team of 22 core committee members spread across these 14 states and there are many volunteers working under them. Shri Jayanti Lakdawala, Secretary is taking care of entire south India. West of India is taken care from Ahmadabad central office. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

  3. CONTACTS INMANY CITIES and STATES • We are present in almost all major cities of India and if given time frame of a week we can plan various events for visiting NRI. Our volunteers are well equipped to take care of challenges which NRIs will face on their visit to India. We need timeframe of 15 days for getting ready with plans for visiting NRI. • In Next 15 days we need NRIs in North & North East Zone in 224 parliamentary constituencies. • In South Zone 104 parliamentary constituencies are our target Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

VOLUNTEERS IN GUJARAT • Number of Volunteers: • Type of volunteers: Professionals, students, housewife and majority of them are erstwhile VHP, RSS and BJP members which gives us a clear advantage of work culture and discipline. • Office Volunteers: There are 30 Volunteers in Ahmadabad office handling various things as per their expertise. This includes members with marketing, back office, planning, creative designing and writing skills. Many of them have very good followers all over India and are very good speakers. WHAT HAS GIBV-INDIA DONE SO FAR (1) • Created a network all over India for the comfort of Visiting NRIs. • Innovative election campaign programs were done in most of LS constituencies of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and UP. In coming days we are planning to do more innovative campaigns like this. • We have created a core team of people who have good knowledge of legal matters, content writing, creative designing, speaking in front of huge crowd and they are capable of managing a large team. • Various seminars were conducted in colleges in Gujarat, Delhi and Rajasthan to encourage students to think about BJP agenda. WHAT HAS GIBV-INDIA DONE SO FAR (2) • We have created a web site taking a cue from US web site and are now planning to make it live and do various activities on social networking side. • We are trying to be in touch with various BJP members for coordination of this program. NRIs’ visit to India for campaigning has also started. Shri Ramesh Shah (Houston) has visited all over India. Shri Dhirubhai Shah (Atlanta) spent close to two months helping GIBV team here. and Shri Vasavbhai and Sneha Mehta (Atlanta) have visited places in Gujarat. I need to mention special contribution by Sneha Mehta where she alone had gone to UP on a week long tour and tried her heart out for the cause. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

WHY NRI VOLUNTEERS COMING TO BHARAT SHOULD REGISTER NOW! • Elections in India are just round the corner and if GIBV NRI members would come just after the declaration of election then they could create a better impact among the voters. • Election dates are supposed to be declared in next one week therefore planning early will serve our cause. There is a huge wave of Shri Modiji in India and if NRIs can contribute to this then nobody can stop Shri Modiji from winning this election. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

WHAT KIND OF HELP GIBV INDIA WILL PROVIDE THE NRI VOLUNTEERS • GIBV India volunteers will arrange for meeting at various cities and villages for election campaigning. • Every NRI coming to India will be accompanied by minimum one volunteer so that he/she doesn’t face any problem. • These volunteers are well versed with local language and behavior of people in different places. Also these volunteers will help NRI to understand local problems/situation. • These volunteers will help NRI with accommodation and food if required. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

  9. WHAT SHOULD THE NRI VOLUNTEER BE READY FOR (1) • Before coming to India: • Please sign up on GIBV website. and give all details of present residence and India. Please be familiar with issues and talking points available on www.gibv.org • Personal: • Have proper Travel documents such as Visa, OCI card and Passport. • If you need to get Visa, do so now. • Keep copy of passport, OCI, etc. with your family in your country as well as one • copy with you in India. • Take care of necessary vaccination ahead of time. WHAT SHOULD THE NRI VOLUNTEER BE READY FOR (2) • Carry with you prescription medicine, etc. and over the counter medicines for digestion, body ache, allergens, etc. • Carry clothes for hot weather, except a light jacket or Shawl, sunglasses, hat, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers, etc. • Don’t carry any ornaments or expensive items. Travel light as much as possible. Please carry your personal insurance or health insurance as applicable. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

WHAT SHOULD THE NRI VOLUNTEER BE READY FOR (3) • General information: • You are here to serve for NaMo as PM to save India please do your Seva with tan, man, dhan. • You are expected to pay for your expenses for travel, lodging, boarding and other sundry expenses like laundry, medical, special dietary requirements, etc. • All facilities may not be available in small towns and villages, e.g., sanitation, bed etc. Be ready to be inconvenienced. • We are here for only one purpose, and one purpose only. Mission 2014 for Kamal of BJP and Modiji as next PM of India. • Do not get tangled into local politics/issues. Leave it to local people to deal with.

  12. WHAT SHOULD THE NRI VOLUNTEER BE READY FOR (4) • Familiarize yourself with talking points (you will be given a list). It will help avoid misrepresentation and misinformation. This will help in engaging the people. Be natural and speak from heart. Most of us are not stage speakers or politicians. We are not expected to give any speeches. • Never get in arguments with anyone, especially the media. • Stick to simple, positive points. • We want to tell people why we are here and why we believe it is important to have absolute majority for BJP. • Even if you have reservation about some issues or candidates keep the bigger picture in mind and remain positive.   13. WHAT SHOULD THE NRI VOLUNTEER BE READY FOR (5) • Keep records of the activities/task you have done/accomplished. It will be useful for future planning. Always keep contact person aware of your activities so in case of emergencies/problems prompt actions can be taken. For any emergency please inform them immediately. • Do not be discouraged if things are not moving fast enough or in the direction you are hoping for. India is a complex country and things work very differently than what we are used to. • Above all, be ready to face hardship as living conditions you may face in villages and small towns will not be what you are accustomed too. • Keep reminding yourself: I am doing this for Bharatmata and Modiji! TALKING POINTS (1) • We will highlight what Modi ji has done as CM in Gujarat. • A leader whom majority of people accept as a spotless leader with great Character. • He is a visionary for Gujarat, India and its people. • His motto is less government and more Governance. • He has demonstrated his leadership for "Sab kaSaath Sab ka Vikas" and justice for all and appeasement to none. • His policy is always to unite not divide which is shown in last 12 years of Gujarat Governance Model. • He believes in providing opportunities to people in every sector to be creative to earn their living and progress with entrepreneurship. TALKING POINTS (2) • He auctions all gifts received and donates to Girl Child Education. • For Modiji Government's Religion is India First and its Holy Book is the Constitution of India. • Its strength is 125 Crore Jan Shakti and devotion is to Bharat. 125 crore people are to be served. • He works almost 20 hours/365 days for his people and State. • He practices what he preaches. TALKING POINTS (3): THE GUJARAT MODEL • Agriculture: Providing 24 Hours 3 phase power, water resources, check dams, canals, river linking, Tube wells, etc. 4 agricultural Universities, Soil Lab and Guidance for Crops. Animal Husbandry and expanded Dairy production. • Power Sector: Providing 24 hour electricity to most of the areas including remote villages. Employed Solar and Wind power as alternate energy. • Water: Completed Narmada Dam Yojna and built Narmada Canal and took water by huge pipelines up to Kutchh. Lakhs of check Dams to conserve water and create ponds. • Environment and Green area: Tree Plantation and preserving Jungles and animal habitats. • Education: Great Emphasis on Education and Skill Building. Created multiple universities and educational opportunities in almost all disciplines including tourism, fishing, marines, aeronautics, business, IAS, IPS, IT , medicine, pharmacy, teaching, etc. First university in Forensic Science and Climate change College.

TALKING POINTS (4): THE GUJARAT MODEL • Primary Education: Modiji wants every child to go to school and for that he himself and his ministers go to different schools during school opening in June to encourage them. For Girl child safety and education he has created insurance to protect girl child birth and special efforts for Girls and Women's education. Financially weak Women can go up to PhD education free of charge. • Manufacturing: Opened or expanded opportunities to multiple areas like Automobile plants, machinery in different areas like Textile, machining, agriculture, diamond cutting, processing and finishing, Petrochemicals, and Textiles. TALKING POINTS (5): THE GUJARAT MODEL • Housing: When Slums had to be cleared to make room for road expansion or Riverfront he made sure that the displaced were provided with Pakka (permanent) Houses. He also created Affordable Housing scheme and allotted houses to people. This was done using computerized screening and following established criteria. • Security: Gujarat is the most secure state for all citizens including women You can walk outside at 2.00 am in the morning. All people working are happy to earn and save for better life. In last 12 years there have been no riots in Gujarat. Anjlee Pandya- GIBV.In

WHAT ARE THE PLANS FOR NEXT 10 WEEKS FOR GIBV- BHARAT • Rath Yaatra: Three of our volunteers headed by our secretary Shri Jayanti Lakdawala will be doing a Rath yaatra covering 26 lok sabha constituency. He will be staying in tamil nadu for next three months for doing prachar of Shri Modiji. He will cover 6 states in this Rath yaatra. • More seminars are in works for all across the country.
