Graduated Drivers License is on our side • Introduces new drivers to the driving experience in steps • Please encourage your sons and daughters to be reading their Drivers Ed Manual. • Check in with them about the class • Good Grades=Insurance Discounts • STUDENTS MUST PASS THIS CLASS IN ORDER TO GET THEIR PERMIT!!

Special Learner Permit • No Driving11:01 pm – 5:00 am • Must be at least 16 years old • Must complete 6 hours Behind-the-Wheel Training • 6 months Supervised Driving • Passengers limited to any parent, guardian, or dependent of the special permit holder and 1 additional passenger • No electronics or hand held or hands free devices • All passengers must wear seatbelts • Must be accompanied by an adult supervised driver at least 21 years of age who possesses a NJ Driver Basic License, and a minimum of 3 years

Examination Permit • 6 month Supervised Driving period • No Driving 11:01 pm – 5:00 am • Must be minimum age of 17 years old to 20 years old • No 6 hour Behind-the-Wheel Training required • Limit of 1 passenger unless accompanied by a parent or guardian • Remember the GDL Decal Laws ($4.00 a pair at MVC) • Passengers limited to any parent, guardian, or dependent of the permit holder and 1 additional passenger • No electronics or hand held or hands free devices • All passengers must wear seatbelts • Must be accompanied by an adult supervised driver at least 21 years of age who possesses a NJ Driver Basic License, and a minimum of 3 years

PROBATIONARY LICENSE • Unsupervised Driving period • No Driving 11:01 pm – 5:00 am • Must be minimum age of 17 years • Limit of 1 passenger unless accompanied by a parent or guardian • No electronics or hand held or hands free devices • All passengers must wear seatbelts • Remember the GDL Decal Laws ($4.00 a pair at MVC)
