HOW CAN I HELP SPOT?. SFE Green Team 2013-14. Sol Feinstone Elementary School has adopted an Amur Leopard from the Philadelphia Zoo. We named our big cat Spot. There are only 30 Amur Leopards left in the wild. What can we do to help Spot and other endangered species?.

  2. Sol Feinstone Elementary School has adopted an Amur Leopard from the Philadelphia Zoo. We named our big cat Spot.

  3. There are only 30 Amur Leopards left in the wild.

  4. What can we do to help Spot and other endangered species?

  5. Help Spot by saving energy.- Turn off the lights.- 19% of a building’s electricity is used for computers and lights.- Turn off the water while brushing.- Recycle glass, plastic and paper.- Take a shorter shower .- Fill the bath tub a little less.- Ride a bike or carpool.

  6. How does saving energy save endangered animals?We save resources and put less carbon in the atmosphere. We share the Earth betterwhen we conserve.

  7. Talk to your family about saving energy at home.

  8. Fill out a Spot card with your family and give it to your teacher.

  9. Hang your Spot card in the hallway outside your classroom door.

  10. If your class has 100% participation, your class will be recognized on

  11. If your class has 100% participation, each person will receive an endangered animal trading card and a Zoo tattoo!

  12. Spot and his species can still be saved. Spot says THANK YOU!

  13. You can visit the Philadelphia Zoo to support conservation work to save many other endangered species.
