  1. Social and Ethical Fashion Fashion is a style statement that number of us actually uses it to communicate our ideology and identity. So, it’s very much crucial to be aware of the fashion industry that is currently in the crosshairs for its ecology damaging practices. Well, for their garments Social and Ethical fashion brands choose low quality fabrics. These fabrics are prepared in such a way that they are not at all durable and soon it will end up in a landfill. The textile waste has an extremely adverse effect on the environment and does not decay. Four percent of the world’s waste each year is produced by the fashion industry. As fashion always awakens to sustainability strategy and we with designers are opting for eco-friendly fabrics and ways to marry sustainability with style are experiencing a whole new movement. Companies are focusing on improving every characteristic of the product’s existence and they are making use of resources quite sustainably. Sustainable fashion is the need of the hour as we fight to stop the hostile effect of climate change. The manufacturing process of clothing and footwear always use huge amounts of land and water, and currently is responsible for eight per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions.
