  3. 스마트폰의 정의 스마트폰(Smart Phone)은 PDA(personal digital assistant)와 Mobile Phone의 기능을 포함한 고급제품으로, 스마트폰의 일반적인 모델은 일반적으로 또한 고해상도 터치스크린과 휴대용 미디어 플레이어, 카메라, 모바일 전용 웹사이트 보다는 표준 웹 페이지를 접속하고 표시할 수 있는 웹브라이저와 GPS 네비게이션, 와이파이 및 모바일 광대역 액세스 기능을 포함한다. 스마트폰에 대한 공식적인 정의는 없지만, 스마트폰은 기존에 사용되어졌던 핸드폰에 비해서 발전된 컴퓨팅 기능과 연결성을 가진 폰으로, 과거에 비해 다양한 기능을 가진 “똑똑해진 폰”으로 정의할 수 있다.
