Fractions

This resource is designed to support Year 4 students in understanding fractions. It covers the basic concepts of fractions, including what they are and how to identify the number of pieces that make a whole. The guide also includes practical examples, such as determining how many red balls are part of a total, and simplifying fractions through the use of times tables. Students will learn to compute fractions by breaking them down into manageable steps and multiplying numerators by answers derived from division. Ideal for enhancing mathematical comprehension.
