  3. My Website • My website…still a work in progress • Uploading pictures and background templates is still something I’m working on • I’ve altered where I want to go with it • Use it as a tool for LRC 430 • How I would use it in the Classroom

  4. Chapters and Articles • Bitter & Legacy: Chapter 1 – 11 • Lemke & Alvermann Articles • Lemke discussed multimedia as a new literacy, its complexity and value. • Alvermann discussed the need for research on youth literacy on technology use.

  5. Chapter 2 Learning and Teaching with Technology • Overview of K-12 basic standards. • Changes in new learning theory and practice. • Benefits of teaching and learning using technology. • The effects of technology across different subjects. • Technology as an enriched environment.

  6. Final Project Ideas • A math lesson on percents, called Puzzling Percents! • Use of puzzles on the computer. • Use video for a warm up or in part of my lesson.
