  1. Tips on How to Choose the Right Grips for Your Golf Clubs Golf grip is the animated grip which is installed on the shaft of a golf club so to provide comfort, cushion and control at the time of golf swing. Although this aspect is given less focus but installing the right grip in your golf club is very important as it has immense impact on your golf shot. The rotation of your wrists depends upon the size of the golf grip. With the new advancements in the grip technology, grips can now wick moisture so that the hands and grips are kept dry. There are certain notable points which you must keep in mind before selecting the right golf grip. Grip Material: Mostly, grips are made of synthetic rubber or rubber materials. They are available in different colors and styles and are also durable. The Lamkin golf grips are the latest grips made of synthetic materials which offer additional benefits to the players. Another grip option is the grip made of thermo-plastic material that offers a unique feeling to the players. They impart much softer and tacky feel when used. Surface Texture: The pattern and design on the surface of a grip either imparts a coarse feel or a smooth feel. While making their selection of a grip, the golfers must choose such a texture which makes them feel secure and comfortable when they are playing. If you prefer playing without wearing a glove then a grip with less pattern and smooth surface will be perfect for you. Some of the players prefer a rough texture which enhances their gripping confidence and provides them more hand traction.

  2. Firmness of the Grip: A firm grip offers superior torsion control which is best suited for players with high swing speeds. The tour players and professionals generally prefer firmer grips which promotes light pressure grip and at the same time ensures stability. Players with low swing speed must be choosing comfort grips. These grips are very comfortable but they do not provide torsion control. Weather Conditions: If you are playing in wet conditions then golf grips made of cord fabric is ideal for you. But many a times cord grips are very aggressive on the hands of the players. So it is better that you for a grip with heavy pattern so that necessary traction is provided during humid weather. It is advised to avoid the use of smooth grips during wet conditions. Winn grips are another grip option which you must try out and it is much lighter than the rubber grips. It helps in reducing hand fatigue and provides superior shock absorption.
