1. Summer Training in Ethical Hacking First, an ethical hacker is known in the industry as a Cyber Security Specialist hired to protect the employer/ client from malicious hacking. To be successful at this job you need to know how hackers work. Since to be ethical you need permission to enter a site, which will only be given to an employee or an individual hired to perform the hacking (fighting the hacker or protecting the site from hackers). If you don't have permission to access the site (a security breach) then it's illegal to work on the site, so it's obviously not ethical. Or you can learn to be one by yourself with hard work and dedication (as many hackers have done/do - since the key to being successful in hacking is to know stuff that others don't, if everyone's doing it then it defeats the purpose, right?) Master programming and then get on hacker forums (tech forums- ask the right questions and you’ll meet true legitimate hackers) they will really teach you what you need to know. Things that schools will never and can't teach but are required knowledge for a true hacker. Whether you’re an ethical hacker or not, is dependent on how you use the information/ skills you acquire. But if you want to get a job and get paid for it (a career in very high demand) then you need to get a degree in Cyber security or computer programming then get a job in cyber security as a cyber security specialist.
