This document outlines critical findings and recommendations for optimizing the TIB/TID service organization dated June 3, 2003. The integration group identifies how to efficiently match slots with the number of elements. Key strategies include improving the arrangement of ribbons in the tracker cylinder slots to prevent cable crossing and enhancing the physical placement of read-out ribbons. These adjustments are anticipated to yield significant improvements in mechanical design and allow for precise definitions of optical ribbon lengths, starting with the reordering of ribbon positions.

Conclusions • The TIB service organization mach the slots and the number of elements that are considered by the integration group. • A better rearrangement of the ribbon in the tracker cylinder slots can avoid cable crossing on the service end of the TIB+TID. • This is possible and is going to give an improvement on the physical location of the read-out ribbon and on the mechanical design. • Once we set this, we have all elements to define the optical ribbons length. • In practice we need to reorder from the starting point the position of the ribbon. ______________________________________________________ 3 June 2003
