Engineers for a Sustainable World

This innovative project aims to design and build a wind turbine prototype in State College and then install it in the village of Ngegu, located in the Homa Bay region of Kenya, 170 miles northwest of Nairobi. By developing a profit-driven business model around the turbine, we seek to ensure economic sustainability for the local community. The project encompasses multiple engineering disciplines and offers leadership opportunities while engaging with diverse community stakeholders. Join us for our next meeting to discuss how you can contribute!
