Elements of the Vision • New Ways to Purchase Fares: • Vending machines • Virtual purchases via phone, internet • Auto-pay • Extensive 3rd party purchase and reload network • Contactless credit cards, mobile payment • Universal Fare Media: • Same cards / payment forms on both RR and transit • No more RR-only tickets • No more transit-only tokens • Freedom of choice of customers • Electronic cards for disabled and seniors
