Terminology

This project aims to create a dictionary/thesaurus containing all "correct enough" definitions of various words used in Earth observation. It also includes tutorial materials to help disseminate the message of calibration and validation to a broader community.

Aims of task group • A dictionary/thesauraus: all (“correct enough”) definitions in use for different words, collated in one place • Can be more than one definition of the same word – different communities/languages • Tutorial materials to help give the message of Cal/Val out to the broader community
