Artist documentation for Naples show – The photo portraits will introduce the twenty two participating artists of the exhibition through documentation of their immediate local environments. Local architecture, food, routes, modes of transport, and people, make-up the “outdoor” extensions of the artists “indoor studios”. These series of photographs will attempt to give an insight into the space they exist and work in, highlighting the sharp contrast between the artists inner private lives and spaces, and the world outside. Today, the Indian contemporary artist is being presented on a global canvas, these portraits will take the viewer back to where it all begins …
