CoSEDistinctives • Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) & Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) Grants are Valued on Par with NSF/NIH • Professors can spend a sabbatical with a company rather than at another university or Federal Lab • Materials Science, Engineering and Commercialization PhD • Concrete Industry Management (CIM)

CoSE and School of Business • College of Science is cooperating with the School of Business to establish an entrepreneur business plan competition • MBA students are participating in the MSEC Entrepreneur Boot Camp • The Entrepreneurial Skills Classes, MSEC7301 and 7302, are team taught between CoSE and the School of Business
