  1. Don't let their size fool you! The Bistro Series ovens are constructed using the same materials as our larger commercial ovens, and will provide the same intense cooking environment for pizza and more, but they are much smaller. Bistro ovens are perfect for instances where kitchen space is very limited, but a real oven is needed. The variety of entrees that can be prepared in this style of oven is endless. The door is always open to allow the chef, and the guests, to keep an eye on the action. Bistro ovens can disassemble and fit through any standard door (80cm) and with their compact footprint fit in almost any cook line. With their stainless steel exterior they can be set in place with no facade necessary. As with all Wood Stone equipment the flame commands your attention. There are 2 main Bistro models; the BL4343 offers 7.4sq ft of cooking area and the BL4355 offers 9.4sq ft of cooking area. Since 1990 Wood Stone have sold over 10,000 ovens in 75 countries around the world. In the UK we have sold over 900 ovens and customers currently using these ovens include Zizzi, Prezzo, Strada, Pizza East, Gordon Ramsey, Jamie Oliver, Hilton Hotels and Piccollinos to name but a few. Wood Stone ovens are famous worldwide as pizza ovens but that is just the start of their talents. Searing, sautéing roasting and baking can all done in the oven. With the Wood Stone’s high temperatures, stone fired cooking holds in moisture and gives the finished product a wonderful colour, taste and texture. The Wood Stone ovens feature in Jestic’s superb Test Kitchen and Development centre, operated by Executive Chef, Michael Eyre. Michael has extensive experience of menu development for many well known High Street names and is more than willing to share his skills, tips and tricks with you. Ideally located 40 minutes outside of London in Paddock Wood, Kent, the test kitchen offers a relaxed atmosphere and friendly environment in which we can offer advice and expertise on using the products to produce the best food possible.
