Plagiarism: Big Word, Bad Meaning • Plagiarism is taking someone else’s original work and claiming it as your own. • For example: Taking a paragraph from an article and putting it directly into your research paper. Basically, if you do this, you’re just stealing somebody else’s words. • Plagiarism isn’t just about writing: people can plagiarize art, inventions and other things too!
