Preparing Miami-Dade Hospitals for Large-Scale Medical Countermeasure Dispensing

This initiative outlines a collaborative response exercise designed for Miami-Dade hospitals, focusing on readiness for large-scale medical countermeasure dispensing, utilizing both Open and Closed Points of Dispensing (PODs). The exercise, occurring over four months, involves a 48-hour response plan aimed at evaluating hospitals' capabilities to manage and dispense medical resources. Key objectives include identifying communication strengths and barriers, ensuring operational continuity, and coordinating with local health departments. Participants will engage in various modules to simulate real-life scenarios and improve preparedness.
