  3. What is Connexxus? • UC Centralized web portal for booking travel, reviewing trip plans, and much more • UCSF’s preferred method for making travel arrangements • A way for UC to save over $8 million annually by using the same portal, vendors and discounts

Why use Connexxus? • Discounted rates of 2% – 25% on airfare, car rentals, and hotel rooms • One stop travel arrangement portal • No fee if cancelled within 24 hours • Direct bill for airfare from BCD and UCTC • Automatic car and travel insurance • Auto enrollment in Risk Management Database (IJET) • May be used for booking personal travel taking advantage of UC discounted rates • Ability to track spending with providers and negotiate discounts
