Clause of Reason: e.g. They are called extreme because they are pushing themselves to dangerous levels. • Clause of Contrast: e.g. Although Tom got up late yesterday, he managed to get to work on time. • Clause of Condition: e.g. Most people, if they’re really honest with themselves, will admit they like sports at least a little bit.
