Clause of Reason: e.g. They are called extreme because they are pushing themselves to dangerous levels. • Clause of Contrast: e.g. Although Tom got up late yesterday, he managed to get to work on time. • Clause of Condition: e.g. Most people, if they’re really honest with themselves, will admit they like sports at least a little bit.   4. Clause of Time: e.g. When winter comes, many amphibians hibernate. • Clause of Place: e.g. Wherever we go, we see sameness. • Clause of Comparison: e.g. There seem to be far fewer individualized experiences today than there were in the past. Level 4 English Dept. Aladdin Halwani
