  1. Cleaning Hacks for Kitchen Appliances: Cooktop, Rangehood, Oven & Dishwasher

  2. Cooktop – Gas, Induction Bringing your cooktop back to its showroom shine is not tough at all. The induction cooktops have a modern look and you are told that you can simply wipe off the surface and that’s all. It is true in its own sense but not everyone is same. Some are lazy to clean up the cooktops everyday due to their busy chores. But in order to bless a long life to your Kitchen Appliances, you need to maintain them to let them serve you for years back to back. If you are a regular cleaner, the best time to clean the stove top is immediately after you have finished cooking and it is little bit cooled. If you are not habituated to wipe off the stove after every use, fix a weekend schedule. There are a lot of DIY techniques to wipe off the stains off the surface so you do not need to spend lavishly on expensive products. Use white vinegar or baking soda as well as you can combine both which will create a volcano fizz effect which is the best way to clean the top. Spray the vinegar on the glass surface and wipe the damp cloth to clean-off the greasiness. Another way is to sprinkle the baking soda all over the surface. The glass will not get scratched as smooth scrubbing with soft cloth will be more effective than scraping the stains. Use warm water for cleaning, have an old cloth piece wet in it and cover the top for a while to release the accumulated crud. Once you have finished wiping, use vinegar again for giving it a polishing shine. For Gas Stoves, remove the burner grates and caps. You will only need an old toothbrush and a piece cloth, that’s all. Rub the brush over the surface and wipe off the dirt with cloth. Keep the caps and grates soaked in a bucket of hot water for removing excess burnt it had absorbed. www.stocksappliances.com.au

  4. Rangehood Unlike cooktops, rangehoods are very easy to clean as their filter is the only thing you need to keep in healthy condition to let it function properly to suck in the smoke properly. You will need boiling water, baking soda, and non-abrasive scrub brush and paper towel. Follow the simple steps: Remove the filters carefully from the hood, fill up your sink with boiling water or a bucket, whichever convenient to you, now add some baking soda or dishwashing soap as per your convenience, do not use more than one-fourth cup and blend it properly with a brush in sink, now dip the greasy filters in water and let them soak for 15 minutes then rub the brush over the filter over the dirt it has absorbed. After you have finished cleaning, rinse it in clean water then dry it with a paper towel. You can repeat the steps all over again if you think it is not cleaned properly yet. www.stocksappliances.com.au

  5. Oven All the latest Cooking Appliances offer the convenience, so is the case with Ovens. Most of the ovens today are pre-installed with pyrolytic cleaning function which heats up the oven at highest temperature which de-greases the inner walls of Oven so you do not need to worry about scrubbing the corners all over again. Just wipe the walls after the program have finished, that is it. www.stocksappliances.com.au

  6. Dishwasher The drain racks are main thing to clean in the dishwasher. Remove the rack carefully and you will be surprised to see the leftovers like bones, gravel pieces, glass pieces etc, remove them and again put the rack and keep a dishwasher safe bowl filled with vinegar on your top rack and run your wash program. It will clear up the greasy grimes and will sanitize as well as odor. Do not forget to keep the dishwasher empty except the vinegar bowl. www.stocksappliances.com.au
