It serves as the primary resource center for IT audit in SAI India and has benefited officials from 146 countries. Designating iCISA as the global training facility for WGITA will contribute to capacity development for conducting IT audits worldwide.

  3. iCISA: a snapshot ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 27001:2013 (ISMS) certified institution Integrated academic campus with residential and sports-cum-recreational facilities extending over ten acres Spacious and centrally air conditioned buildings Till date 139 International Training Programmes (ITPs) More than 1,000 officials from SAIs and government organisations from 146 countries benefitted Centre for Information Systems and Information Technology Audit set up in March 2002

Mission of iCISA • Stay abreast of fast evolving developments in field of Information Systems and Information Technology Audit • Identify different issues and risks consequent on new digital paradigm of functioning by government • Impart high quality training on Audit and Computer Assisted Audit Tools and Techniques (CAATs)

  5. iCISA as an “IT audit Resource Centre” Primary Resource Centre for IT Audit in SAI India Provides hand holding and technical guidance for IT Audit reports of SAI India Areas of experience includes Audit of e-Governance, open source technology, networking of interoperable data and systems, BPR, and mobile based delivery of services

IT Audit Programmes 34 ITPs, 9 bilateral training programmes on IT Audit Customized bilateral courses for 170 auditors from SAIs of Afghanistan, Nepal, Uganda, Vietnam, Iraq, Bangladesh and Oman 157 national capacity building programmes on IT audit and e-governance provided to more than 4500 participant

  12. iCISA as GTF of WGITA Many working groups under KSC have designated GTF iCISA contributing to capacity development of SAIs for conducting IT audit & other audits through training programmes 37 out of 47 member SAIs of WGITA participated in iCISA training programmes iCISA could be designated as Global training facility of INTOSAI

Probable Course Structure and Timeline Programme design by global team Training could commence within 6 months of courseware approval Course based on IT Audit Handbook and revised ISSAIs 5300 and 5310 (exposure to be finalized by 2018) Course design to be taken up and completed by 2019 Annual training to be part of WGITA Work Plan of 2020-2022
