  2. AGENDA • Welcome and introductions • The SCR ESIF Programme, Where we are now and where we want to be • Stakeholder feedback (circa 1 hour) • Networking Do you want to reflect on it? Send us an email before Friday or leave us a note on a chair. We will pick that up and include it.

  3. SCR ESIF PROGRAMME (Structural & Investment Funds) - National allocation = ESF & European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) • Managing Authority = Dept. Work and Pensions (DWP) • Programme delivered in 7-year periods, now 2014-2020 programme • Spend up to 2023 • Investment based on “additionality” requiring “match” funding • Contains priorities with fixed output requirements and ringfenced allocations

  10. Objective of this morning = bring out a strong, deliverable programme that adds value • Get some ideas from you = is this ok? Anything missing? Better ideas? • Scale = SCR wide/ LA Level?? • What needs to be built into the specs? What do we need to take account of (links to existing support, referral routes etc) • What are the minefields we need to avoid? • Start stakeholders thinking about future delivery mechanisms = form consortia, thinking about potential match
