Technology • In here, we think safety first. • No food or drinks when Macs or other devices are out. • Macs and devices stay on tables when in use. • One person operates the Mac or other device at a time. We may have two people collaborating on a device, but only one person is the operator. • You must stay seated while Macs and other devices are being used. • Technology is only to be used for instructional purposes—unless teacher has instructed otherwise • Only a teacher will distribute and collect the Macs. • When the green technology sign is out that means we are going to use technology today, but you must wait for my say before you begin use. • If you do not follow the rules the consequences are as follows: • Warning • No access to technology for the rest of the day • No access for ten days and administrative or other corrective action will be taken.
Weekly Routine • Monday: Basic ELA work-vocabulary/grammar lists • Tuesday: Basic ELA work • Wednesday: STEM writing or ELA writing • Thursday: Writing and ELA work, Target check • Friday: RTI for people who didn’t meet 3 on target checks, or grammar/vocab project time, literature circle time, writing conference/mastery time. (Individualized Help)
