  4. My Position • Home Depot being built in Chile. - They have good natural resources • A strong Infrastructure - A okay History

Good Natural Resources • Chile has good natural resources -Near the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean • Easy to transport goods -Has many Forests and Rain forest - 968,000 forest area • Can get raw material by cutting trees -The Capital city will make a lot of money • Make a lot of money because of population

  6. A strong Infrastructure • Chile’s Infrastructure is stable for Home Depot -Large Seaports with improvements • Market faster,cheaper,and without costly delays -7 international airports and 2 world-class airports • Helps the Chileans • Improved paved roads • 80,505 kilometers of roads

A Okay History • A Okay History -Settlers came and settled in Chile • 1540, Pedro De Valdivia found Santiago and took over • Droved Spanish out of Chile and achieved independence • Loyal to Spanish crown • In our time, it’s different! - different ethnic - immigration -speak many different languages

  8. Even though… • There are deforestation in Chile • Trade in economic freedom is low • History was terrible Why it doesn’t weigh out • Still can get raw materials • Make a lot of money • History changed and now others can come in

  9. Conclusion • To expand the store • Find somewhere in South and Central America to put Home Depot in • To research about the country • Go to Chile if you want to make more money
