  3. Everything, praise him!

  4. Praise him from our skies;

  5. praise him from outer space.

  6. Praise him, you astronauts;

  7. praise him, all children of the stars.

  8. Praise him, sun and moon;

  9. praise him, all distant galaxies.

  10. Praise him, all who are close to his heart;

  11. praise him, all mysteries beyond our knowledge.

  12. All of you, praise the Lord,

  13. for he speaks and you come into being.

  14. He gives you a place for ever;

  15. He fixes the universal laws.

  16. Praise the Lord from this planet earth:

  17. rolling ocean and powerful hurricane;

  18. Lightning, hail, snow, and ice;

  19. wind and storm fulfilling his purposes;

  20. Our mountains, plains, and hills;

  21. our orchards, cane-fields, and forests;

  22. Kangaroo, possum, and platypus;

  23. lizard and snake,

  24. black swan and rosella parrot.

  25. Prime ministers and presidents of the earth;

  26. Cabinet ministers and high court judges;

  27. Exuberant teenagers,

  28. old people and children,

  29. Come on, all of you, praise the Lord;

  30. he alone is worth it!

  31. His glory transfigures this earth,

  32. and blazes from a million suns.

  33. He has given humankind high honour;

  34. heroes will applause his faithfulness.

  35. Those who trust his presence will shout:

  36. ‘Praise the Lord!’
