My Country. Mary Jeanne Assinzo. Intro Slide. The name of my country is EatNoval. The motto of my country is, Never Lose Faith aka N.L.F. My country has a l ot of bright colors in i ts flag. Location. My country is located at 15N and 75W. It is an island southeast of Jamaica.

  2. Intro Slide • The name of my country is EatNoval. • The motto of my country is, Never Lose Faith aka N.L.F. • My country has a lot of bright colors in its flag.

  3. Location • My country is located at 15N and 75W. • It is an island southeast of Jamaica.

  4. Physical Geography • For the most part, my country is almost a subtropical savanna. • There is moderate precipitation and it is mostly hot. • My country has a couple mountain ranges that are fairly large, also it is an island.

  5. Physical Geography continued ….. • It is not landlocked, and it has 8 regions. • My country’s flag is a purple and red winged foot with red, black, and purple stripes going down the sides. • See attachment for flag.

  6. Climate and Vegetation • The climate in my country is mostly hot. There are some times where it gets cold during the winter time. • We get very little rain, but when it does rain, it pours! • The vegetation region that my country has is a Savanna. • There are shrubs and tree, but not as many as there would be in a forest.

  7. Natural Resources • We are rich in natural resources and fossil fuels. • We have a lot of coal mines and oil reserves. We have 32% of the worlds oil. • Our natural resources very in water, grass, soil, wind, trees and many more things.

  8. Population • People live near the south because it is warmer and more tropical. • We do not have a huge population, but there is a lot of people living there. • Our population is growing but not rapidly, because women usually have 1 to 2 children. 3 at the most. • Usually people do not migrate, but we do have some emigrants.

  9. Culture • People in my country have a vast variety of cultures. The people who first settled the land came from all over. Europe, Asia, The Middle East, and South America. • We are a service industry so we do a lot of marketing. • Everyone does everything the way they learned to do it from there ancestors that passed it down to them.

  10. Culture continued ….. • People eat a lot of seafood because we are an island, but we do also have different types of food. The different backgrounds affect what people eat. • Some of the many languages in my country are Latin, French, English, Spanish, and Chinese. • People in my country work well together so there are no challenges.

  11. Social Structure • There is a lower class, middle class, and upper class. • There is not a lot of lower class or upper class, but a lot of middle class. • Family is very important to the people in my country. Whether or not the are lower middle or upper class, everyone keeps in contact with the family. • Extended family’s are more prevalent.

  12. Economics • My country has a unique system. There is a very strict way of how our government is being ran so that they do not have too much power. • The citizens and government balance each other out in power. • The money in my country is the same as the money in the U.S.A, and people do use it.

  13. Politics • My country is a democracy. • People get to determine politic policy and things like that. • It is ran by a central government.
