Pray for children in vulnerable situations … “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him,for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.” Deuteronomy 33:12 Reports estimate as many as 100 million children live in the streets around the world Children living on the streets are there usually because of poverty, overcrowding at home, neglect, family disintegration, HIV/AIDS or abuse Without care or protection, children facing vulnerable situations are prone to child labour, trafficking, disease and crime

Please pray… That children living on the streets may be able to find safety, love and protection That God will provide safe and loving households for children in areas that are prone to more violence or abuse For workers, parents, church leaders and caregivers who look after these children or are seeking to help them 60 children praying in Uganda Do you know any children who are in particularly vulnerable situations? Take some time to pray for them…

  4. Pray for children who are trafficked But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. - Psalm 10:14 The global market of child trafficking is worth over £7.5 billion a year with over 1.2 million child victims (UNICEF) The average age of children who are first trafficked is 12 years (U.S. Department of Justice) Reports of exploited children are growing every year (Stop Child Trafficking Now)

Please pray… For the children who are being trafficked and exploited For children in situations that leave them vulnerable to exploitation For all the workers who have devoted many efforts to rescue and care for children affected by trafficking Lima, Peru Intercede right now for the children who are currently suffering from trafficking and exploitation…

Pray for children who are orphaned A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. - Psalm 68:5 There are an estimated 153 million children in the world who have lost one or both parents (UNICEF) Over 16.5 million children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS Orphaned children often end up dropping out of school to care for their siblings or to survive day to day

Please pray… For the children who have lost one or both parents, for their lives and upbringing That children who are orphaned can find care and protection and that they can be able to have the opportunities for better futures Do you know any children who have lost a parent? Take some time to pray for their grief, healing and future. Hong Kong
