  1. How to create a Backup of your Company File on MYOB?

  2. If you want to create a backup for the company file of MYOB software on a CD or hard drive then the backup function can be used in the software to create a compressed archive that will be used in the space.

  3. Continue….. Follow these simple steps to do this method: • Open MYOB AccountRight Software on your system. • Now, go to the File menu and click on Backup option.

  4. Continue….. • This will open " The Company File" Backup window. • Now, select the type of backup. • Once this is done, please check the company file for errors.

  5. Continue….. • Click Continue. If you select " Do not check company file for errors ", the Backup Window will appear on the desktop. • If you select " Check Company File for errors " then the verification process may take some time.

  6. Continue….. • Select OK button once the verification process has completed. • Select the location where you wish to save the backup file.

  7. Continue….. • If you want then you can change the name of the saved file. • Click on the Save button

  8. Continue….. To restore a backup: • If you have created a backup on an external drive, insert the disk into the disk drive. • Move to the File menu and click on Restore .

  9. Continue….. • Now, select your file and click Open . • Choose the folder where you wish to save the restore file. • Click on OK
