  1. ‘Eternity’ & ‘Love’, Paired The pair of Radha and Krishna is symbolic of love and compassion. Lord Krishna is considered to be one of the many forms of lord Vishnu, that is,one of his many avatars. He is considered as an incarnation of the almighty god Vishnu among the followers and practitioners of Hinduism. The deity Radha is considered as "the primeval potency of the three main potencies of God, Hladini (immense spiritual bliss), Sandhini (eternality) and Samvit (existential consciousness) of which Radha is an embodiment of the feeling of love towards the almighty Lord Krishna (Hladini)”. There are also arguments present in the discourse that the deity Radha, is the feminine form of the deity Krishna itself, in order to provide an inclusive representation of both feminine and masculine identities prevalent within themself. It is very popularly seen that the names Radha and Krishna are never uttered separately, they are always said one after the other in succession and considered almost a

  2. single unit, that is, Radha-Krishna. The pairing is considered an eternal one. There are innumerable followers of the Hindu religion and those influenced by it who have undying devotion towards the coupled deity Radha-Krishna. This love and followership of people has given the couple a stage which is understood to be the ideal form of romantic love shared between two people in a community. Companionship along with compassion are the strongest foundation in one's life. It is also seen that people suffering from a sense alienation or those having difficulties in finding a compatible partner for themselves or couples having marital problems often seek to perform religious ceremonies and offer their prayers to a Radha Krishna statue in order to receive their blessings. It is believed that performing this puja would bring about great change in their romantic relationships. All the negativity they experience in life will be replaced with positivity. It will be the onset of their beautiful harmonious love life which will be as eternal as the deity’s.
