  9. Refining your search • Lets look at seat plans within our 219 unit result set that only have a 100 Gal BTR Fuel tank option: • We should select the “options” screen to refine our search filter: “Options” screen menu

  15. Wildcard Option Search • For Option searches that have dozens of option numbers (like seats), enter any portion of the option number directly into the SEARCH window. The list will filter all quotes with options that include the string entered. • You can also use this feature if you know a specific option and just enter the option number directly into the SEARCH window. • The following example shows how we would filter the result of the previous screen to see only orders that contain an IMMI seat option (B6248-xx-xxx).

Review: • The General Information Search Screen is used to filter the large seat plan database (over 25,000 configurations) to narrow the search result set. • The Options screen can be used to find specific option content • The Options screen can be used for wildcard option searches by entering any portion of the desired option number directly in the Search Window and selecting the Search button. • Once the result set is only a handful of plans, the seat plan links can be used to view the result set quickly. The next section will discuss how to use the Seat Plan Search Tool to assist in finding Special Needs seating configurations.

  20. Special Needs Searching A quick way to review special needs only configurations is to include the Flat Floor = Yes option in the General Information search. The following screen shows our VA C2 search with the Flat Floor Option flag set. Note that only 57 configurations were returned in this result set, and all of these are likely to be special needs because of the flat floor requirement.
