  4. Kaplan MCAT 2015 Event • Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. • Oread Hotel • Dr. Alex Macnow is coming to talk about the changes to the MCAT and what it will look like • Intended for freshmen and sophomores • RSVP online ASAP • http://bit.ly/mcat2015ku

Enroll Wyandotte • Opportunity to help enroll eligible families and individuals in a lower-income area into the Health Insurance Marketplace • First training sessions took place over last weekend • Volunteering will occur all throughout the months of February-March • If you didn’t join this year, consider becoming a Certified Application Counselor next year

  6. Atlantis Project • U.S. students have the opportunity to have internships in local hospitals in Spain and Portugal for approx. a month • Check out Atlantis-Project.org • March 2 deadline to apply

  7. Summer programs • Keep checking the e-mails Paul Crosby, the Honors Program, your major, and more send out for information on summer internships, research projects, study abroad opportunities and more • Deadlines for summer opportunities will be approaching shortly

  8. March Meeting • Focus on Research • How to get involved in research now, as presented by: • Current students involved in research on campus • Michael Sofis, a PhD student whose lab in the Center for Applied Neuroeconomics behavioral pharmacology lab designs research specifically for pre-med students

  9. Sign-Up Sheets Posted • If you’re interested in participating in either: • The Big Event • Autopsy viewings • Please sign up on the sheets at the front of the room at the end of the meeting

  10. New Members/T-shirts • New members: talk to the officers after the meeting • If you have yet to pick up your membership T-shirt, make sure your name is marked off the list before you pick yours up tonight
