Confronto tra cervello e computer Entrambi usano segnali elettrici Sebbene i segnali elettrici viaggino velocemente lungo le fibre nervose, la velocità di trasmissione lungo i fili di un computer è ancora più veloce Entrambi trasmettono informazioni Oltre al potenziale d’azione che funziona on/off, il sistema nervoso usa anche le sinapsi che consentono una modulazione più fine

  4. Entrambi hanno la possibilità di far crescere la loro memoria • Il cervello aumentando le connessioni sinaptiche • Il computer aumentando i suoi chip

  5. Nel corso dell’evoluzione il cervello ha aumentato le sue dimensioni (circa 1.5 kg) il computer ha fortemente ridotto le sue dimensioni

  6. Entrambi richiedono energia • Il cervello ha bisogno di zucchero ed O2 • Il computer ha bisogno di elettricità

  7. Entrambi possono risolvere problemi logici e matematici • Solo il cervello può interpretare l’ambiente esterno, sviluppare nuove idee ed avere immaginazione
