  2. What can we do to reduce deforestation What can we do to save our environment? How can we save ourselves from the perils of negligence towards the environment? Let us think for a while and promise to ourselves, that each one of us can do a little to preserve and save the environment and give a better future to our generations to come.

  3. One step at a time. Our little earth has been subject to the wrath of the nature many a time. And each time it has come out with renewed resources to support the different life forms that occupy its various spaces. But then, like all good things have to come to an end, we have started exploiting the earth for our own means. We seem to elevate ourselves to a plane whereon we dream of defeating nature in all spheres. We excavate, we drain, we uproot, we raze, we spoil the space around and now we think of fighting each other with arsenal that has devastating results on all forms of life on our beloved earth. Let us try, at least try, to preserve whatever we have been given as a boon by earth. How can we try? Let us move on to learn …………

  5. Most Important Conserve resources: Just because, natures’ bounty is full, it does not mean that we can plunder from it. Any treasure or source has to come to an end. In most cases, we are already on the brink of exhausting some of the resources, due to our neglecting attitude. Every country has to grow, both economically and as well as socially. Both these factors are so closely knit together that if one grows, the other follows, and if one of it starts to crumble, the other has to show cracks. But then, Nature has a totally different system of balancing its resources, and when this total balance is disturbed the perils to life starts and the line between a healthy life and a life of wanton, starts to wither. Environment is not a very expensive commodity. It is abundantly available. It is how best, we make use of it, in a very rationale manner, that matters.

  7. The Diminishing Silver Lining What we should do to change this dreary picture of our future. Total commitment towards teaching the values of environmental preservation and conservation. Drive the dream with actions in your homes and offices. Make the actions look like a game for people to enjoy. Rigorous follow-up on actions done and their continuation on a routine basis. Make this a habit of living with nature rather than living on nature. Break through this monotonous shell of eat-live-work-eat……. No number of laws can help to save the earth. With every one law passed there are at least 10 loop-holes discovered. It is the sincerity and the affection that matters rather than the fear and negligence that lead nowhere.

  8. The Goldilocks Zone But then…………… Is our dear earth running a temperature Just right for sustaining life Prophecies of Global Warming Causes of Global Warming: Increasing green house gases. Felling of trees. Polluting of water bodies and disappearing of the water bodies. Diminishing ozone layer. Unhealthy life styles. 40% of heat generated from coal burning and emission of polluting gases. The remedy: reduce, reuse and recycle. Better power projects, with lesser emissions; do not dump refuse in lakes, rivers, seas, etc. Infra-development to increase awareness and monitor development programs.

  9. An ISO 14001 certified organization, that has committed itself to caring for the environment in all its activities. In order to prove our mettle in this aspect, we need to “Walk the Talk”. Let us do that part as an in-built program. Let us prove to ourselves first, that we are indeed putting our efforts to ensure that our share towards protecting the environment is fully consolidated and focused. The basic requirement to standby proudly by this certification, is to exhibit the results of our activities, that we have done, are doing and shall plan carefully and execute, in an unblemished manner, in all our future activities with full regards, to the Environment and Society.
