Rorschach Test • A test developed by Hermann Rorschach, a Swiss psychiatrist • A series of 15 inkblots used to distinguish intelligence, emotional traits, and perceptive abilities • Today it consists of 10 inkblots in combinations of grays, blacks, and colors • Tester uses the scores to describe the patient’s personality.

  4. Look at the next images: • You will have 1 minute to describe what you see in the images • Write non-stop • You may use bullets or complete thoughts • Number your responses

  5. Now, Imagine you’re a Psychiatrist • Write a half a page describing what a psychiatrist might say about your personality after reading your responses.

  6. Thematic Apperception Test • Choose one of the four images. • Write a short story with a beginning, middle, and end, describing what has happened in the picture. • what has led up to the event shown • what is happening at the moment • what the characters are feeling and thinking, and • what the outcome of the story was.
