The United Nations defines food security as “all people at all times having both physical and economic access to the basic food they need." Globally food insecurity is caused by climate change, urban development, population growth and oil price shifts. In the United States most food insecurity is caused by poverty both rural and urban. The food insecurity status of children has not improved consistently in the last decade. Cause of the problem
