This research explores how embodied interaction techniques, referred to as "spells," can enhance collaborative work in co-located computing environments. By enabling intuitive connections between tangible actions, like pointing and touching, and interactive digital services, the approach facilitates shared awareness and promotes social transparency. The study evaluates the effectiveness of these interaction techniques in improving user engagement and collective decision-making, thus transforming how groups collaborate in interactive spaces.
