MyoD and Pax Gene Expression in RV-Transduced Muscle Progenitor Cells

This study explores the role of MyoD and Pax genes in muscle progenitor cells using various retrovirus vectors. The experimental setup involves eGFP tagging for visualization and DAPI for nuclear staining. Different constructs including Pax3, Pax7, and their respective dominant-negative and full-length forms are utilized to evaluate their effects on cell proliferation and differentiation. The results provide insights into the regulatory networks governing muscle stem cell behavior, illustrating the interplay between MyoD and Pax gene family during myogenesis.
