  3. Early Life, Family and Education Jimmy Carters’ parents were James Earl Carter, and Lillian Gordy Carter. He had one brother and two sisters. William Gloria, and Ruth. Jimmy was the youngest in the family and everyone called him little Billy. At age 5 he got 5 dollars at the end of each week. Jimmy Carter went to a public school in Plains. He was a good student he was in a book lovers club and he graduated from high school. He was in the top of his class. He entered the Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

  4. family life He married Rosalynn Smith. He had 3 sons and 1 daughter John, William, Jack, And Amy Lynn. His father touched peoples life. He worked boiled peanuts successfully. Local government involved.

  5. The Election Carter was well known and he appealed to many different kinds of people. Carters campaign was honest trustworthy man. He had a close election. He ran against Gerald Ford.

  6. Interesting Facts .He sold boiled peanuts. He was honest and trustworthy. Carter sold boiled peanuts for 1 dollar he got about 5 dollars at the end of each week. Carter felt more comfortable wearing blue jeans than a suit.
